Charity & Community

Giving back to the communities that powers Africa.

Beyond policy and regulation, the African Chamber of Energy Safety and Security is committed to uplifting the communities at the heart of Africa's energy landscape — funding access programmes, training youth, and supporting environmental stewardship across the continent.

Initiatives

Three pillars of community action.

Our charitable work is structured around three focused areas where we can make the most meaningful difference.

Energy Access & Affordability

We fund and coordinate safe electrification projects in rural and peri-urban areas, working alongside local governments to ensure every household has access to clean, reliable power without compromising on safety standards.

Youth Education & Skills

Through bursaries, apprenticeships, and community safety workshops, we invest in the next generation of African energy professionals — creating a pipeline of skilled, safety-conscious workers who will lead the continent's energy future.

Environmental & Community Health

We partner with affected communities to monitor environmental impacts, support clean-up operations, and advocate for the health and wellbeing of people living near energy infrastructure across the continent.
